Since our establishment in 2002, Cornerstone Funeral Services has been built upon a foundation of care with kindness and respect. The cornerstone (or foundation stone) concept is derived from the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.

We continue that strong tradition by providing extremely affordable prices for the community, which have not been raised since we opened our doors. We understand the emotional and financial burden which occurs when a loved one passes. Elizabeth Fournier, funeral director and owner of Cornerstone Funeral Services in Boring, has been affectionately known as The Green Reaper within the state due to her long-time advocacy of green burial.
